James grew up on cattle ranches in the southwest and has been making his own way through life since he was only 15. Always passionate about songwriting, he's been touring and making music for many years. He has performed in over 20 countries and thousands of cities, while still taking care of his son, Mason.

James has accomplished many wonderful things in his career. He has released 2 successful albums and hit the charts with his songs. Five of his compositions managed to hit Billboard Texas Regional Charts at number one!

Today, he is ready to release new music, and a third album is on the way. With his humble spirit, James still has the desire to spread great music with the world. He had the pleasure to perform with some of the greats in country music. He shared the stage with artists like Chris Ledoux, Merle Haggard, Clay Walker, Joe Nichols, Junior Brown, Dale Watson, Robert Earl Keene, Ronnie Dunn, and many more!

James is a very honest songwriter, whose music connects with the audience on a much deeper level. Being a single father isn't always easy. James sacrificed his time and career, to make sure he could provide his young son the best possible care. Finally, It’s time to get back on the scene! James never gave up showing people that dreams do come true, even if it might take a bit of extra time!

According to James, music is important because it can pull a person through life's hardships. With a firm belief in the fact that anything is possible with faith in God and music, James is a positive role model for his audience. His philosophy is simple: we only live once, so we might as well shoot for the stars!

James new album is a true labor of love. The project has been in the works for the past 3 years, and finally, it's almost here!

James loves to give back to the community. He has been involved with raising money for Hurricane Harvey Victims, as well as rescuing people during that natural disaster by boat. He is a recipient of many awards, including 2016 Texas CMA Artist of the Year.
